Counseling Center Mission
Caroline Davis Intermediate School’s Counseling Program aims to support every student within the learning environment. Program reflects the impetus for change and the foundation to provide students and families with the tools for developing skills to manage life’s challenges. The program promotes and facilitates academic, personal/social, and career development so that every student is encouraged to identify his/her full potential in the 21st century.
Services
There a number of services the counselor center provides in order to meet the emotional, social and academic needs of all middle school students here at Davis. Some of these include:
Caroline Davis Intermediate School counselors developed their school counseling program based on the American School Counselors Association (ASCA) National Model. This model recommends the majority of the school counselor’s time be spent in direct service to all students so that every student receives maximum benefits from the program.
